1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the okidoki application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

okidoki is a video conferencing application that allows users to create and join live video rooms, communicate via audio and video, and exchange text messages within a session. Features and availability may change at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using okidoki you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. User Accounts

You may use okidoki as a guest or by signing in with a Google account. If you use Google Sign-In, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or display name.

5. Acceptable Use — Zero Tolerance

okidoki has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By using the Service you agree that you will not transmit objectionable content or behave abusively toward other users. Accounts that do are removed.

You agree not to use the Service to:

Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
Transmit pornographic or sexually explicit content, or nudity
Transmit any content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors — we report such content to the relevant authorities
Engage in hate speech, or attack or demean anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or incite violence against any person
Promote self-harm or suicide
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Record other participants without their consent where required by law
Transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or chain messages
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems
Use the Service for any commercial solicitation without our prior written consent

6. Content, Reporting, and Enforcement

You retain ownership of any content you transmit through the Service. By transmitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and transmit that content solely to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Filtering

We apply an automated filter to user-supplied text — including chat messages, room names, and display names — and reject or mask content that matches our prohibited-terms list.

Reporting objectionable content

Any user can report another user or their content from inside the app: open the participant list, tap the ⋯ menu beside a person, and choose Report. Chat messages can be reported by long-pressing the message. You may also email us at engineering@clevercorpllc.com.

We review every report within 24 hours and remove content and eject users found to be in violation.

Blocking

Any user can block another user from the same ⋯ menu. Blocked users are kept out of rooms with you, and their rooms are hidden from your room list. You can review and undo your blocks under Blocked users in the account menu.

Host moderation

Room hosts can mute, ban, or remove any participant, and can end a room for everyone.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate the account of any user who violates these Terms, without notice and at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The okidoki name, logo, and all related materials are the property of okidoki and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, okidoki shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
