1. Introduction

okidoki ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the okidoki app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using okidoki, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. Guest users are not required to provide any personal information beyond a display name.

Room activity. When you create or join a room, we process audio and video streams in real time to facilitate the call. These streams are not recorded or stored by our servers.

Chat messages. In-room chat messages are transmitted through our servers and stored temporarily to support chat history for participants who join mid-session. Messages are deleted when the room closes.

Usage data. We collect aggregate usage statistics (e.g. number of rooms created, active participants) to help us improve the service. This data is not linked to individual users.

Device permissions. The app requests access to your camera and microphone solely to enable video and audio calls. We do not access these outside of an active room session.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the video conferencing service
To display your name and avatar to other participants in a room
To authenticate your account via Google Sign-In
To monitor service health and improve performance
To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

okidoki uses the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In & Firebase — for authentication and remote configuration. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
WebRTC — for peer-to-peer audio and video transmission. Media may route through TURN relay servers operated by us; no media content is retained.

5. Data Retention

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Chat messages are deleted when the room that contains them is closed. Usage statistics are retained in aggregate form indefinitely.

6. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time directly from the app. Tap the ⋮ menu next to your name on the home screen and select Delete account.

Deleting your account will permanently remove:

Your account record (name, email, profile picture)
All rooms you have created and their associated data
Your Google Sign-In credentials from our authentication system

For security, you will be asked to re-authenticate with Google before the deletion is processed. Once confirmed, the deletion is immediate and irreversible — we cannot recover your account or data after this point.

Aggregate, non-identifiable usage statistics derived from your activity are not deleted, as they cannot be linked back to you.

If you are unable to access the app, you may also request account deletion by contacting us at engineering@clevercorpllc.com.

7. Children's Privacy

okidoki is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption for data in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
